This issue of Team Care Connections examines moral distress and moral injury– the emotions and bodily changes that occur when there is a disconnect between what a person believes is right and good and what the person is able to do or sees happening. It highlights the experiences of primary care teams and interviews experts to provide suggestions on how to begin discussing moral distress and moral injury, including potential causes and best practices for care teams.
