This article, published in the Journal of Healthcare Quality (2024) sought to understand perceptions of clinicians at community health centers on the extent, types, and causes of care delays and disruptions in relation to hypertension management during the COVID-19 pandemic and how clinicians and their organizations addressed delays and disruptions. The study also explored challenges in managing hypertension during the pandemic and which changes should be sustained over the long-term to optimize care. It was produced with learnings and insights from the National Association of Community Health Centers in the spring of 2021.
