This session will showcase how an FQHC can develop a residency program, including the difficult decisions an organization will have to make, such as whether to be accredited, getting leadership buy-in, how to pay for/support the program, and how to successfully integrate the residents into practice. Kim Chen and Matthew Bertsch both run residency programs in FQHCs in Arizona and both have unique views and perspectives on program startup and development. This session will cover key points for pharmacists and members of the C-Suite and management team.
