To help simplify leadership basics, NACHC has developed an 8-part series of modules that supports a learner’s understanding of what’s required of an effective leader. Topics include core characteristics, foundational management skills, influencing without authority, communication, SMART goals, employee motivation, ethics, and professional networking. By the end of this learning series, participants will understand the foundational skills needed to succeed as a new health center leader and can identify areas they want to include in a personal development plan for improvement.
Intended Audience: Frontline and mid-level staff, new managers/supervisors, and employees just beginning a professional development journey.
Running time: 1 hour 30 minutes
