The 2024 National Training and Technical Assistance Needs Assessment closed on 11/1/24. Results of the assessment will become available in early 2025.
Every three years, NACHC conducts a national health center needs assessment to inform the development of operational training and technical assistance (TTA) needed by health centers to advance health center access, quality and impact. NACHC develops and deploys this effort in close collaboration with all HRSA-funded National Training & Technical Assistance Partners (NTTAPs). Health centers assessed included Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Look-Alikes.

2021 National TTA Needs Assessment Summary Results
NACHC piloted and then nationally fielded the 2021 assessment July-October 2021. All health center staff were invited to respond. The needs assessment was structured to allow the respondent to quickly identify and select needs across a variety of TTA topics. The national TTA Needs Assessment:
- Minimizes response burden by reducing the number of needs assessments deployed to health centers.
- Improves ease in response through a streamlined questionnaire.
- Identifies priority training topics for BPHC, NTTAP, PCA and HCCN attention.
NACHC conducts this project with cooperative agreement support from HRSA. Analysis of the results are described in a final summary report reviewed by the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC).
This national assessment will inform the development of training and technical assistance (T/TA) necessary to support health centers improve access to primary health care as well as to advance quality and impact in upcoming years.
