This Fact Sheet provides an overview of the Health Resources & Services Administration’s (HRSA) Look-Alike Health Center Program. Look-Alike Health Centers are HRSA-recognized health centers that play a critical role in delivering comprehensive primary and preventive care services to underserved and vulnerable populations. Look-Alikes do not receive federal 330-funds but are eligible for other Health Center Program benefits such as the Medicaid Prospective Payment System (PPS) reimbursement rate. Becoming a Look-Alike Health Center is a viable option for an organization seeking to become part of HRSA’s Health Center Program, especially when there are no New Access Point funding opportunities available.
