This interactive map visually demonstrates community health centers that have adopted resilient energy systems–namely solar panels and back-up batteries–across the country. It serves as a powerful tool for other community health centers to see the growing interest in resilience. This map also enables users to learn more about the positive operational, environmental, and financial impacts experienced by health centers that have implemented these systems.
To explore the map, users can either click on a yellow pin on the map or they can select the first story and follow along through all examples. Most stories have the option to “Learn More” about the solar installation journey, which will redirect users to a published story or video from an external outlet. Please reach out to jdempsey@nachc.com if you have any questions, want to learn more, or would like to include a health center on this map.
