This article, published in the Integrated Blood Pressure Journal (2021), reports on a project led by the National Association of Community Health Centers to study a quality improvement approach to identify potentially undiagnosed hypertension patients “hiding in plain sight” (HIPS) at 10 federally qualified health centers. The project incorporated a protocol for self-measured blood pressure (SMBP) among hypertensive patients.
