Introduction to CHC Finance: Understanding the Essential Functions of the HC Financial Operations Leader training workshop is designed to provide an orientation to financial management, accounting principles, and terminology unique to health centers as well as an in-depth focus on 330 grant management, including the elements of the scope of services, and reporting.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, the participants will be able to:

  • Recall the requirements of Section 330 grants management.
  • Evaluate effective systems in the finance department for timely and accurate reporting of information.
  • Explain the five elements of the Section 330 scope of project and how they influence health center finance and operations.

Certified Continuing Education

The National Association of Community Health Centers, Inc. (NACHC) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. (NACHC) participants may earn up to qualified ACHE Qualifying Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.
