Health Center Needs Assessments 101: What They Are and How to Conduct Them
Overview
Assessing, documenting, and responding to community needs is at the heart of the health center mission. The needs assessment is not just an opportunity to hear directly from your patients, staff, and community on their most pressing needs, but it is also an opportunity to make strategic decisions about your health center’s services, locations, and partnerships.
This webinar will provide health center staff with an overview of HRSA's requirements around needs assessments, key methods and tools that can be used, and ways that health centers leverage their needs assessments to inform and improve the delivery of health center services.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this webinar, the participants will be able to:
- Describe HRSA’s requirements around health center needs assessments;
- Explore different assessment methods, tools, and data sources that can be used for health center needs assessments; and
- Consider ways health centers can leverage their needs assessments to strategically inform decision-making.
