Building a Strong Health Center Board Chair and CEO Partnership
An effective partnership between the board chair and CEO is critical for the health center’s overall success and sustainability. This highly interactive post-conference workshop will address key components of a strong board chair and CEO relationship and provide these partners with an opportunity to develop shared agreements to guide their work together. Additionally, participants will discuss good practices for health center board meetings and overall governance and will have an opportunity to identify strategies to enhance governance at their center. We strongly recommend the center’s CEO and board chair attend this session together to explore their critical relationship and to discuss how to enhance governance at their center.
For an optimal experience, we strongly recommend that a Health Center CEO and Board Chair register for and attend this training together; a center’s Vice Chair may also participate. Note: This session is only open to CEOs, Board Chairs, and Vice Chairs.
Registration Fees:
- $99 through December 31, 2024
- $149 from January 1 – February 8, 2024
Building Coalitions for Community Needs Assessments
This interactive 4-hour workshop is designed to highlight what goes into effectively planning and executing community needs assessments in a coalition model. Health Centers interested in partnering with Primary Care Associations (PCAs), health departments, hospitals, and community-based organizations on their needs assessments are encouraged to attend. Participants will gain insights from case studies including Maricopa County’s Synapse Hospital and Healthcare Partnership and other coalitions featuring Health Centers, hospitals, health departments, and more.
These real-world examples will be leveraged for small group activities to collectively identify community needs, create community health improvement plans, explore financial implications and resource savings, staff teams for continuity and integration, improve diverse community member buy-in, and drive systemic change through policy and advocacy.
Registration Fees:
- $99 through December 31, 2024
- $149 from January 1 – February 8, 2024
