Charlotte Community Health Clinic has been recognized as one of two winners of Bank of America’s Neighborhood Builders program, a national initiative that provides funding and leadership training to nonprofits advancing economic mobility. Under the leadership of CEO Carolyn Allison, the clinic delivers comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral health services to underserved communities in Charlotte. With this grant, the clinic will expand its services to East Charlotte, enhance infrastructure, and strengthen its development team to secure additional funding and continue its mission of accessible healthcare for all.
This award aligns with the Vital Conditions Framework, particularly the pillar of Meaningful Work and Wealth, by supporting long-term economic stability and opportunities for Charlotte residents. Human Resources Manager Aaron Sammons, recognized for his leadership in workforce development and diversity initiatives, will participate in Bank of America’s leadership training program, further strengthening the clinic’s impact. This recognition reinforces Charlotte Community Health Clinic’s commitment to fostering a healthier, more resilient community.
