BETHESDA, MD— The 2025 Policy and Issues Forum (P & I) sponsored by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), will take place February 5-8 in Washington, D.C.
The P & I Conference is the nation’s largest gathering of Community Health Center (CHC) professionals. These healthcare leaders will join with national policymakers, innovators, and thought-leaders to develop strategies for expanding primary care access – a critical step to reduce chronic disease, save lives, and lower healthcare costs. CHCs serve 32.5 million patients (10% of the U.S. population) across rural, urban, and suburban communities, while accounting for just 1% of total U.S. healthcare spending. Their innovative, comprehensive care model improves health outcomes and reduces costly emergency room visits, delivering significant savings to American taxpayers.
The conference speaker lineup features:
- U.S. Senator, Bill Cassidy, MD (R-LA)
- U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT)
- U.S. Senator, Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-DE)
- U.S. Senator, Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) (recorded video message)
- U.S. Representative, Troy Balderson (R-OH)
- U.S. Representative, Jennifer Kiggans (R-VA)
- Former U.S. Representative Henry Bonilla (R-TX)
- Former U.S. Representative Patrick Kennedy (D-RI)
Educational sessions at the conference will address advocacy, value-based care/payment innovation and transformation, CHC operations population health and quality improvement, workforce investments in the future, and more. NACHC is also proud to be the partner of choice for more than 100 exhibitors from across the healthcare spectrum. NACHC is looking forward to being a resource to the new administration, the 119th Congress, and the MAHA Caucus in achieving our shared goal of expanding CHCs and primary care access. The first step in attaining that mission is for Congress to pass bipartisan legislation to fund CHCs before it expires in March.
