Overview

NACHC is pleased to announce the launch of a FREE Value-Based Payment (VBP) Learning Series.

This series is designed to meet health centers, and health center partners along the VBP readiness continuum – from Planning, to Implementing, to Optimizing. Individuals who are directly supporting health center VBP activities such as leadership, finance, clinical, and quality improvement staff are encouraged to attend. Choose your own adventure and join the sessions recommended based on your health center’s VBP readiness, interest, or attend them all!

Attendees are encouraged to take the Value Transformation Framework (VTF) Assessment prior to attending a session to assess their health center’s care transformation journey.

Attendees are highly encouraged to complete this introductory module prior to attending the 4-part series.

Value-Based Payment Series Session 1: Planning for Volume-Based to Value-Based Payment

This first webinar will explore value-based transformation fundamentals, considerations when deciding whether to participate in a health center-led CIN or other network options, and outline a roadmap for VBP.

Value-Based Payment Series Session 2: Pathways to Progression Along the Value-Based Payment Continuum

Date and Time: June 13th, 2024 at 2:00 – 3:00 pm ET

During this second webinar, learn what is needed for health centers to succeed in LAN category 3A (shared savings with upside risk only) and how to prepare for LAN category 3B (shared savings that includes downside risk).

Value-Based Payment Series Session 3: Implementing High Quality Primary Care within Value-Based Payment Models

Date and Time: June 20th, 2024 at 2:00 – 3:00 pm ET

This third webinar will provide insights and key takeaways from a National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s (NASEM) landmark report and offer a framework for health center decision-making when considering participation in CMS Innovation Center alternative payment models.

Value-Based Payment Series Session 4: Optimizing Value-Based Payment Strategies while Mitigating Financial Risk
